Ripple – “Light of Hope”

A kind-hearted artist Kelly Light contributed this week’s topic for Illustration Friday.  She is collecting 2.5″ x 3.5″ pieces of artwork to sell and will be donating the proceeds to help with the oil spill cleanup efforts in the Gulf.  The watercolor below is my contribution to this effort.   Please go to her site and check it out.  Thank you! http://ripplesketches.blogspot.com/

Cristie, lovely illustration. It’s such a sad situation! You’ve done a great job depicting their plight!! Love the color of the turtle.
